1. General Information
Dylux Vision (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides photography, videography, drone filming, and photo booth hire services throughout the United Kingdom.
By engaging our services, you (“the client”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings and Deposits
A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total booking price is required to secure your date.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other approved payment methods.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.
If you cancel within 14 days of the event, the full balance may still be payable at our discretion.
If you cancel within 30 days of the event 20% of the full balance may still be payable at our discretion.
Rescheduling may be possible subject to availability and agreement. Any changes must be confirmed in writing.
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, equipment failure, severe weather), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule where possible.
4. Delivery of Work
Final edited photos and/or videos will be delivered within 10 working days from the date of the event, unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery may be via digital download, USB, online gallery, or another agreed method.
Raw, unedited footage or images are not included unless explicitly agreed prior to booking.
5. Use of Images and Videos
Dylux Vision retains the copyright to all photographs, videos, and drone footage produced.
We reserve the right to use images and footage for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials, unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing before the event.
Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use their media unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Drone Operations
All drone operations are conducted in accordance with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
Flights are subject to weather conditions, local restrictions, and safety considerations.
If drone footage cannot be captured due to weather, location restrictions, or safety reasons, this portion of the service may be substituted or refunded at our discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable care is taken, Dylux Vision cannot be held responsible for:
Equipment malfunction or failure (though backups are maintained wherever possible)
Adverse weather or conditions outside our control
Loss of images or footage due to unforeseen technical issues
In the unlikely event of total loss or cancellation by Dylux Vision, our liability shall be limited to a full refund of any payments received.
We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.
8. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions (venue, guests, property owners, etc.) for photography, videography, and drone operations.
The client must ensure the event runs on time and that we are given reasonable access to capture the required content.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for communication and service delivery.
We do not share client information with third parties, except where required by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
